You are cordially invited to the Blanaevon Pit's Annual Mining Gala

Our events are about creating wonderful worlds in which to entertain, to meet and to inspire.

In an evening that takes you back to 1930s Wales, Blanaevon Pit’s Mining Gala will combine fine dining, music, and theatre to create an unforgettable, fully immersive murder mystery experience. Tickets will be limited, so make sure you grab one for you and your friends as quickly as possible!

We invite you to shape and solve a mystery. Each guest is given a role in the gala and therefore a part in a mystery entirely made by you. We create the setting, the story, and you bring it to life. So come and immerse yourself in a world of mining, murder and mystery!

How it works:

- About two weeks before the event, you will be given a unique character to play, and guidance on your specific role in the evening.

- Whether it’s hunting for clues, delivering speeches, or revealing key information to specific characters, you are encouraged to get into your characters as much as possible. So whilst fancy dress is not compulsory, it is certainly encouraged - be as creative as you like!

- This is an 18+ event!
